About Me
I am a genealogist and writer currently residing in New York. I grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Nonfiction Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. I am the author of seven books and numerous magazine articles. I've also been an avid genealogist for 20 years. I use my expertise to teach online genealogy courses and am a frequently invited speaker for national conferences, genealogical and historical societies. See my Web site for more details!
